Because we believe truly legendary pies begin with tender, flaky crust, we make ours from scratch all day long. Unlike other commercial bakeries who press their pie dough, Legendary Baking pie crusts are rolled– just like grandma used to make only on a larger scale. We believe rolling our dough produces a pie crust that is tender and flaky when baked. Nearly 300 APC blue ribbons won over the last nine years tells us we’re doing something right!

For our Fruitabulous™ fruit pies, we source the finest fruit we can find from premier growing regions such as apples from Michigan and New York or blueberries from the Northeast. The fruit used in our pies is picked fresh, minimally processed (e.g. peeled and sliced in the case of our apples) and flash frozen to ensure the fresh flavor and nutritional integrity are preserved as much as possible. Our fruit is enrobed with delicate spices, natural juices and sugars prior to being deposited in the pie shell to maintain better fruit integrity and ensure that every bite is a perfect combination of flavors.
