Meet Wanda. Wanda was hired part-time at our bakery in Oak Forest, Illinois to prepare strawberries for Fresh Strawberry Pie. Showing attention to detail and a willingness to acquire new skills, she was quickly promoted to a full-time position in our Packaging Department. From there, Wanda continued to learn new areas of the business and grow professionally, working in positions where our desserts are baked, and decorated. Wanda is now a Bakery Manager who is ready to teach you the skills needed to succeed at Legendary Baking. Wanda is one of many people at Legendary Baking who have advanced their careers by moving through the company, and she reflects Legendary Baking's core values and our commitment to developing talent from within. We believe it takes legendary people to make legendary products and we are committed to helping our people have legendary careers. You may never have baked a dessert but we are happy to train you if you're excited to learn. We certify our bakery staff in Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
